Located at Formula1UnitedStates.com, the new language website platform will serve as a valuable resource for Spanish-speaking fans across the globe and, most importantly, for its neighboring country of Mexico. As the largest minority group in the United States and the third most common language spoken across the globe, the Hispanic market can now easily view the Formula 1 United States website in their native language. The Spanish version of the website is a part of the venue's customer care and outreach to Hispanic fans and consumers worldwide. The website is dedicated to providing updates and information to local, state, national and global communities interested in the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™ to be held in Austin for at least the next decade. The goal is to provide racing and non-racing fans alike a view into the global sporting event referred to as the event where “technology meets glamour.” The website currently offers background information on the event visionary, the investors, FAQs, the Formula 1 racing in general as well as links to join our mailing and ticket interest list; information about Austin, TX, the host city; news articles and releases; the Formula 1™ onboard lap driving experience; photographs and more. The launch of the website follows last week's announcement that Mexican driving star Sergio Perez will team with Kamui Kobayashi to drive for BMW Sauber for the 2011 season. The immense fan base supporting Perez in Mexico as well as the US will position the 2012 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™ as a home race for Perez. Perez has been widely portrayed in the worldwide press as the “Driver for the Americas.” Formula 1 United States The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™ 3.4 mile circuit combines modern features with details reminiscent of traditional races from the 1960's. The surrounding landscape will allow for a maximum elevation change of 133 feet, a feature that is sure to please drivers as well as fans. In addition, the circuit includes a strategic combination of over 20 turns, including variations of classic corners such as Istanbul Turn 8, Maggots–Becketts–Chapel and Hockenheimring's Stadium Section. About Formula 1 Racing Formula 1 racing is the most viewed sport in the world (on a yearly basis) and ranks among the top three most prestigious sporting events along with the Olympics and Soccer's FIFA World Cup. Formula 1 is considered the most technologically advanced sporting event in the world.
