NickHolt Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 It's always good for tracks and race teams to land sponsors. Without them tracks and many teams could not survive. Nick Quote

i37DirtTrackMama Posted October 16, 2010 Author Report Posted October 16, 2010 How many sportmods are going to be locked after friday night are is there no reason to run friday night .just trying to see if I should come up friday are Saturday .if u don't lock in that many cars why run friday Last year the majority of Sport Mods ran their heat races on Friday. The advantage would be if you have car problems you have a day to get them fixed. However it is not mandatory to run your heat race on Friday. Quote
JohnnyT66 Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 Hey E.J.(stang21),I would get with JIM to clarify.. I know he is at the track putting in a bunch of time, But i was under the impression if you wanted front rows, you had to race on friday... Then non taken spot got in on saturday....See you soon....Frank t Quote
rebelracewriter Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 I thought (KEY WORD ALERT) that I read where the Friday heat race winners were automatically locked in the front rows of Saturdays feature (redraw).......But then I "thought" I was going to be Abilene this weekend too..... Quote

To clarify the Friday Night heat race question: There is no advantage of racing Friday night other then the ability to work on your car for Saturday's race. The only cars that are assured of having a top 6 or 8 positions in the A-Main are the drivers that win their heat races Friday or Saturday. It will not be determined how many of the top finishers in each heat race will advance to the A-Main until we know the entire car count which will not be until Saturday. Quote
