jrip Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 Well, since the races are cancelled this weekend, maybe we could get some cars to run through the parade at western days. it would be a great chance to show off and give a little boost to the spectator attendance. i'm sure jim would love the idea off a bunch of cars rumbling down main street in yorktown. people will be there from all over, so what better way to let them know about shady oaks?!?!? y'all are more than welcome to park trailers at my house so that wouldn't be a problem. i contacted the chamber of comerce and got the ok from them to give us a late entry so please show your support. the info and website is below so who's coming???? http://www.yorktowntx.com/registration-forms.htm * Yorktown Texas Western Days Association Inc. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- www.YorktownTx.com www.myspace.com/yorktowntexas Release, Waiver of Liability and Covenant Not to Sue Parade Participant __________________________________ Date _______________________ By acceptance of an invitation to participate in the 2010 52nd Annual Western Days-Ziegfest Grand Parade, I (We) accept and assume all risks and responsibility for any and all claims for property damage and/or personal injury to our participants (myself, my guests, invitees and/or employees) regardless of the nature or cause of the damage or injury and hereby release the Yorktown Western Days Association, Inc., the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture, Inc. and the City of Yorktown from liability for any and all property damage, personal injuries or other claims arising from my (our) participation in the 2010 52nd Annual Western Days-Ziegfest Parade, including those that are known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen.
