Preparations at the track are underway, food is on order, racers are calling to let us know they are coming from as far away as West Texas and New Mexico , and sponsorships are being received. A Test and Tune is scheduled for Thursday evening with the gates opening at 4:00 pm with practice going until 9:00 pm. Racers can bring their trailers and cars in on Thursday afternoon to be parked for the Friday and Saturday races. The test and tune charge will be $25.00 for the car and driver and $10.00 for pit passes. On Friday night a driver pass or a pit pass will get you a shrimp boil plate sponsored by Bill Pittaway, I-37 Raceway's 2010 IMCA Modified Champion and I-37 Raceway. Bill is donating the shrimp for this special event. Thank you Bill. All details of the event, including times, admissions, purses, events and rules are listed on our website, www.i37raceway.com If other questions, please call Jim at 210-478-0111. i37DirtTrackMama Posted October 17, 2010 Author Report Posted October 17, 2010 We are going to have TRICK OR TREAT for the kids in the pit after the races both nights. Please bring some candy to hand out to the kids as they come around to the cars. If you are one of the classes that race both nights, you may choose a night you want to give away candy but do not feel obligated to participate both nights. Also want to remind everyone about the shimp boil plate that will be given away in the pits with pit and driver pass admission. This shrimp boil is sponsored by Bill Pittaway and I-37 Raceway. Bill is the driver of the #37 car in both the Sport Mod and the Modified classes. Thank you Bill for the shrimp donation. Quote

Things went great at the practice last night and we are in prep mode for tonight. It was beautiful at the track last night and we expect the same tonight. Had a brief shower down there this morning which will mean we will only have to do 99 laps of watering instead of 100. Hope to see everyone there tonight and tomorrow night. Invite friends, realtives and enemies to the races and they will find out why we all have such a compation for the sport. LET'S GO RACIN'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
