CC57 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 are the closest are the closest to the truck rules run and HMP and THR? I believe the current rules are pretty much ARTS. What about the nmow defunct Fast Truck? Or SST? Or what? Thanks Quote
ToryC Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 I believe anything that came from ARTS will be pretty close unless there were major modifications made. The ones I know of that came from ARTS are Southwest Tours Trucks, West Coast Pro Trucks, Texas Pro Trucks, All Star Trucks. From what I understand, USST [united States Super Trucks] are built on different chassis and the motor and trans rules are significantly different... as are the ASA Speed Trucks. I don't know about the Fast Truck series. Remember... this is from my limited knowledge base. Quote
Truck99 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Another series is the New England Race Truck series. www.newenglandracetrucks.com The website is not very informative, but they seem to be based on the old ARTS trucks. Quote
firemdk Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 the ARA (Advanced Racing Association) formerly IURL our of Indianapolis is almost exact except for the fact that they use the larger carb on the 602 crate and hoosier tires but the rest of the trucks are exact. Quote

Yep, but theres a few guys floating around the tracks they are carb fanatics, as well as those auto swap meets always produce one. This site and Racingjunk.com come up with them occasionally but you better act fast here. Lots of traffic on this site buying all the good stuff. Quote

Not sure why anyone would have trouble finding a 4412 carb - they are still available brand new from just about any parts supplier and used from more rebuilders than you can shake a stick at. Quote
