debwill
COME SHOW OFF YOUR CAR AT SAN ANTONIO SPEEDWAY! Cable TV News 9 will be shooting some footage this Thursday, June 3, at an open practice session scheduled from 4P-8P. This practice session is open to all San Antonio Speedway classes, and the cost is $25 per car. We encourage as many drivers as possible to come to this practice and show off our track on TV! zoom
WHY why does this stuff always happen when my car is not even close to ready for this Saturday? Is there an evil conspiracy out there? Who all is going?
debwill
Be sure to tune in to News 9 San Antonio (cable) today to see the coverage of yesterday's practice session. The sports reporter (Alex Balekian) is working on the video this morning, and he plans to start airing it on the 6:46P broadcast later today (Friday). It is also supposed to be aired at the same time every hour until 4:46A. Most of the focus of the video concerned the age differences in our drivers. Mark Ackerman, driver of Late Model #37, is featured along with one of his pit crew members. Also included will be an interview with James Cole (Late Model #14). So don't forget to tune in later today! News 9 wants to do more at the track. They are going to try to feature more drivers in future broadcasts, so it's really great to have their support of the track. Let's make sure we support their station!
