That 26c Pure Stock driven by Cody Leanard was flying last nite. From dead last to about tenth and a self spin put him back. Yet once again he made his way back up to fourth from dead last. Driving that car in the corners deep enough to make his dad grab the stands and be like o sh*t. But he made it stick and then the second place guy spun and should have stopped in his tracks but yet kept going and took Cody out. But hey its racing. So I wanna give Cody a shout out to ONE HELL OF A DRIVER! Keep it up and ur dad will be handing the reins over to you to his modified in a couple years. LOL Sorry Darin. Hope to see yall soon.

way to go codeman!!!! i aint never seen a kid so talented and soo ball.ie as Cody last nite.you purestocks better watch out,this kid is hot!!!sad to say he got caught up in the last lap wreck,but he was givin it all...Darrin and Brandy should be proud of him even though the car got trashed...And to think what he put his big sister through ridin shotgun...way to go Courtney...maybe someday you will pay him back....

It was nice to see the car finally not break and the boy get a chance to race. We're very proud of that 13 yr old kid. He works his but off to get to drive and I'm hard on him but it's paying off. He blew his motor is CC running bombers and our good friend Danny with Double D racing sponsored the Codeman a motor. Cody even changed the motor himself with a little help from me and mom. He rolled the front tire off the rim in the heat because I ran to low of air pressure in rf so he had to start in the back for the feature. I think he would have made it to the front even quicker if the car wouldn't have been shifting into second. I know a real good transmission guy that's told me how to fix that. To bad he didn't get his good finish but that happens in racing. Cars in pretty bad shape but I'm sure with his determination we'll have it back for the big show. New front clip and his only comment was don't change the way it handles. Need a radiator, fan, fan shroud, power steering pump, fenders, nose, bumper and tubing. I still can't believe how far he was driving that thing into the corner. Courtney thought every time they went into the corner they were going to fly off the track. Said it was better than any ride she's ever been on and scared the hell of her. Thanks to all that have helped to get the car out there. Danny, Brad, Brandy, Shane, Lawerence & Pat, Pittaway. He's looking at my mod and the limited we have out back. It won't be long and I'll be doing a lot of watching.

Darin y do you think I said what I did when I posted this. LOL He will be driving ur mod and giving Greg hell each and every nite. Yall are a hell of a group and wish I could have been around more this year to help you out since my name is on ur car. lol Well codeman keep up the good work and it will pay off for you. Wish i could be back out there but it takes time and money. So next season is looking alot better for me already. Well hope to see yall at the big show.

Darin, Its a GREAT feeling, isnt it..,You will get the same comments i got when my young ones did good,THEY ARE CHEATING!!,.But Darin you know how to win that battle,I proved you were not when you were winning..Its a GREAT feeling when you step aside to wrench for your loved ones.. But Dont step aside to quick....I let him drive my car ONE heat race,And never got to drive it again!(lol)..The memories are endless.. enjoy the time...Frank t
