Double points at Golden Triangle Raceway Park this Friday

Double Points will bring double action in the Fast Lane

 

Beaumont, Texas (September 25, 2010) - This Friday, October 1, the Golden Triangle Raceway Park competitors will be competing for double points. This added incentive always brings about extreme racing in every class and with this being the next to last night of the 2010 season, drivers will be going flat out. No frills just plenty of thrills which sometimes lead to spectacular spills.

 

In addition to the fast lane classes on the program, during intermission the final Box Car Race of the season will be held. Kids 12 and under get to build and race cardboard boxes on the front straight-away. To be eligible for the prizes each child MUST wear tennis shoes and socks. They must also have one pit crew member to assist them at a pit stop midway in the race. Lots of fun and prizes.

The FALL CLASS, which is the grand finale of the 2010 race season, will be the following Friday, October 8. All the Golden Triangle Raceway classes will be competing for a $1000 winner’s purse. There will also be a Pre-Halloween Party during intermission, with a costume contest for all ages and of course plenty of Trick-or-Treats. Ya’ll plan to come and bring a friend.

 

Golden Triangle Raceway Park is located on W. Hwy. 90 between Beaumont and China, TX. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6:00.
