Guest Mary Ann Naumann Posted May 29, 2004 Report Share Posted May 29, 2004 Got a call today from Tim Sowell, he said as I already know, he is a loyal TSRS supporter, but unfortunately he would have to miss this weekends race, his father is in he hospital in intensive care, he asked if we would mention it at our Driver's meeting and request prayers for him. I would hope each track would do the same. Mr. Sowell has been a loyal Longhorn Speedway and Thunder Hill Raceway, car owner & supporter! If there is a race going on, he is there! Tim, thank you for the call and we will be waiting for an update call from you. Our prayers are with you and the family. He is not out of the woods yet, but there has been improvement. Everyone, please keep praying. Everyone with TSRS had him & the family in their thoughts as we shared the news in our drivers meeting. I understood from Tim, the THR bunch sent cards by way of Tim. Tim said it put a big smile on Red's face. Now, thats what our racing family is all about! He is wanting to go to THR sat. if he is up to it. Shawn, Charlie, Brian, MaryAnn, Michael, Perry and eveybody that I have talked to the past week thank you for being there for me. It really means alot to me. If I didnt have anyboby to talk to I dont know what I would. All of yalls prayers were answered. Now I still have my father around maybe we can build a car again and get back to our winning ways. P.S. until then I would like to get back into a race car if anybody is willing to let me drive.
