Original I had thought about doing it at the track, but Do you realize that here in Houston the heat index is like 100...How about we have some fun in the sun and the WATER!!!!!!!! There is a place about 30 miles east of the track (IF that far) it is called Banana Bend Beach, it is on the trinity river. I went this past weekend and had a BLAST. Its $5 a person, you can bring a boat (sorry guys you can't race your cars on the water...LOL.....) $2 for children 12-6....they have BBQ pits, picnic tables, concession stands with reasonable prices. If you are interested in spending the day on the lake and the beach! let me know that way I can have a head count, I will have to get there early to get tables and pits.
