I was born in Hobbs and grew up going to the old track there between Eunice and Hobbs with my parents. I have been to Cardinal 3 times since it opened when I was in Eunice visiting my grandparents. Hopefully it's not a permanent closure!

fast18
From Corsicana or Central TX it is a long haul, but for the racers in West Texas it's just over the state line.
rebelracewriter
Many guys that raced Midland/Odessa, Abilene and Amarillo all ran there....Back when Henry Witt was running for the national championship and all the Texas tracks rained out he hauled from Waco to Eunice Poor car counts were only part of the issue.....
