$1000/win Cowtown Mods, kids get flgs and more on 7/3

Kennedale, Texas (6/30/10) - Race fans of all ages will be in store for some added action when they attend the July 3rd races at Cowtown Speedway.

 

In light of the upcoming 4th of July holiday, the first 200 kids through the gates will receive an American flag to keep for their own.

 

The powerful Cowtown Modifieds will be racing for $1,000 to win and $100 to start. The Cowtown Modifieds feature many of the top modified drivers in the region.

 

In addition to a full racing program of Cowtown Modifieds, each of the following classes will be racing for an added $100 to win in their classes: Performance Transmissions raceTX.com Limited Modifieds ($400 to win), Cowtown Bombers ($225 to win) and A-Class Winged 600’s ($350 to win). The Restricted Class 600’s will have $100 added to their purse, but it will be paid throughout the top 10 finishers.

 

The LSDCC.com Dwarf Cars will round out the racing action, making it a 6-division show.

 

Fast Facts for the July 3rd Cowtown Speedway event:

 

-Spectator Grandstands open at 5pm; adult tickets are just $12, with kids 6-12 $5, ages 3-5 $2. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the track website at no additional cost. A limited supply of reserved-seat tickets is available for $15 adults and $7 for ages 12 and under.

 

-Pit gates open at 5pm, pit entrance is $30 for all ages. As with other scheduled $1,000 to win Cowtown Modified events, there is a $50 entry fee for the Modified division only.

 

-Hot laps are at 6:30pm and the first race starts at 7pm.
