NickHolt Posted June 28, 2010 Report Share Posted June 28, 2010 ASCS "Salute to Troops" set for Saturday at Golden Triangle Raceway Park by Joy Graham Beaumont, Texas (June 27, 2010) - The American Sprint Car Series will make a return visit to the Golden Triangle Raceway Park this Saturday, July 3rd. The races were changed from the regular Friday night venue to, a once only, Saturday night show in order to have a star-studded, fast lane celebration of our great country. Bruce Griffith, owner of the Griffith Trucking & Equipment Co. located in Highlands, will sponsor the special ASCS sprint “Salute to the Troops”. All military personnel with current, valid identification will be admitted FREE. GTRP will feature the ASCS sprint special "Salute to the Troops" this SaturdayRon Skinner photo Three of the Golden Triangle stock classes: Hobby, Street and Pure Stock will perform on the same program. It will also be $1 Hot Dog Night. Plus there will be a special Hot Dog Race during intermission. This is a fan/driver participation event. Loads of fun and prizes. Remember it’s Saturday night. No races Friday. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. Hot laps start at 7:30 and we go racing at 8:00. The track is located on W. Hwy. 90 between Beaumont and China, Texas.
