Robbie Stuart was the only out-of-towner that took a chance on the threatening weather and it payed off for him. He took the $1,500 and trophy back home with him. Kevin Sitton made a late race pass on Howard Willis and was hot on Stuart's trail at the checkers. Stuart, Sitton, Willis, Holley, Starnes, D. Begnaud, Ivey, R. Begnaud, Migl, Klenzing Overall, a good night and It was great to see the late models back on track here in Texas.
