Guenat Repeats in Hobby Stock at HOT

 

Elm Mott, TEXAS (May 28, 2010) – Michael Guenat made it two in a row with another win in the IMCA hobby stock feature Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway. Shannon Dulock ran second and Ray Kemp, Jr. took third.

 

Benji Kirkpatrick picked up the win in the IMCA modified feature. Cham Savage and Chase Jupe followed in second and third.

 

Keith White remained dominate in the IMCA SportMod class by adding another feature win to his belt. Johnny Sheets and Kevin Green raced to second and third.

 

Jason Gauntt won the street stock feature tailed by Tommy Kirkpatrick and Doug Andrews.

 

The pure stock feature winner was Tommy Honey with Kevin Smith in second and Jeff Shepperd in third.

 

Jeff Williams claimed the winner’s trophy in the cruiser class feature. Dan Webre Jr. placed in second, and Steve Wade ran third.

 

Top three in the junior mini stock feature were Corbin Suggs, Jordan Kornegay, and Cory Kreder.

 

Martin Quiram beat the Texas Twister field to Victory Lane. Michael Hilliard came in second, and Jay Hutson drove to third.

 

Sasha Sessums was the first of the visiting Brazos Mini Sprints to reach the checkered flag. Trevor Reed chased behind her to second, and Kyle Thompson finished in third.

 

On Sunday, May 28, the second half of the Memorial Day Double Header will include features only for IMCA modified, IMCA Hobby Stock, IMCA Hobby Stock, the IMCA Sport Regional Race, the Sprint Series of Texas, and the Junior Mini Stock Young Gun Shootout.
