Got a call from James a few minutes ago. He said the surgery went well this morning but that he has to keep that arm elevated for several days and will miss the races at THR this Saturday.

But mostly he wanted me to be sure to thank everyone for their prayers and concerns.

He sounded a bit woozy, but in good spirits.

Took James to the doctor today after his surgery 5 days ago.

I was shocked when they removed the cast and he was cut

from the wrist to his elbow.

His arm was shaved, looked like a skint cat. "Itchy Itchy"

All looked good, still no work, racing, mowing the lawn

etc... Alls he can do is sit in a rockin chair according

to doc.

He is to start exercising that arm a little bit so he can gain

back the use of it.

Go back to the doctor 6/15 for stitches to be removed and

new orders from doc.

They are now calling me warden huff...haha!

James and I both want's to thank all of our family and

friends for all your prayers, concerns, love and the

little jokes.

With all our love & blessings,

James & Janette

Janette tells me that James' checkup went well and that he's now in a removable cast and has started physical therapy.

I almost put "therapy" without the "physical," but thought better of it. Don't want his close friends and associates getting too hopeful that he's finally getting some of that "shrinker" therapy. (Think I better be "runnin and duckin" - LOL)

  • 1 month later...

Well after 8 longs weeks James has been released and

can go back to work on August 2nd. Doc says no heavy

lifting and still has to be careful.

Has to return back to the doc on 8/24.

No racing this weekend 7/31 with the TSRS Allison Legacys,

but can race in the next race on 8/14.

Both of us are so excited.
