paying

All racers Pay weather they work there or not. The employees get a different band than the racers and that is because they dont pay.No one can be in a race car without a paid pit band.

At first it seemed like an innocent enough question, but I have deleted a couple of posts that don't seem quite so innocent.

While I'm not at all sure what issues are behind this thread, this question should have been directed to the track rather than posted in a public forum.

As a former track official, I do know that all tracks have a pass list who are admitted to the pits without paying out of their own pocket. The track pays the cost of their insurance. Example would be members of the press, major sponsors, city officials, track employees, etc.

I also know that at most tracks the back gate money is matched to the sign in sheets, minus those who signed in on the pass list.

Just so everyone knows if you have a question or complaint about anything pretaining to the track ( lightning, cost of pit passes, etc) call the track at 361-289-8847 if noone is there at the time leave a message and someone will call you back. Lonestar Speed zone has nothing to do with the operations of the track etc.You can also pm me here and i will get back with you once i get a answer for you.

Thanks Robin

Hey,what about my senior discount??My AARP is paid up!

Fact is CC Speedway has the least expensive pits in Texas. The dirt track in Corpus charges 40$ per driver and for each car driven. If you race 2 cars, you buy 2 pit passes.Plus redgestration fees,I dont remember if its 25$ or 50$.along with parking fees if you dont want in the swamp.RGS charges 52$ per driver,25 per person,25 per car and 2$ for emergency equipment.Plus 25$ redgestration fee.25 more for transponder rental if needed. At CC Speedway it costs 25$ per driver,no fees,no parking fees.First come first park.Multiple cars to drive OK.

What we need is to charge Charley 5$ for every lap unfinished and the purse can go up.

with all those charges ..how do you have enough for gas ....... i think charge charly every time he opens his mouth .. now with the unfinished laps ..good ideal ..the purse with him alone would be great ...
