TRP Posted May 17, 2010 Report Share Posted May 17, 2010 Hello everybody, I was at the track Saturday afternoon at about 1:30 pm. I dumped 3.5 in of rain out of the rain gauge at 7am. Then 5 inches Saturday afternoon. The infield was not visible due to water about a foot deep. Water was almost up to the track surface. It was an incredible sight. But now the work begins. The track was washed out in the turns and straights both. I will be working hard the next couple of weeks getting it back into shape to race on. Just when it was getting good too. Well I will be doing my best and hardest to get it back into shape. Thanks to all of you racers and fans that makes it worth it all. See yall soon at the track.
