NickHolt Posted May 10, 2010 Report Share Posted May 10, 2010 This Friday’s Spotlight to Shine on Five GTRP Classes Plus Kid’s Box Car Races By Joy Graham Another great show on tap for race fans this Friday, May 14th. Five of the favorite Golden Triangle Raceway Park classes will be competing with two of them, the Street Stock and Pure Stock, looking for a bonus at the pay window. Also, during intermission the special fan participation event will be the monthly Box Car Races for youngsters 12 years old and younger. Kids get a chance to design and build their own cars out of cardboard boxes. Each child will have one adult crew member to assist in a pit stop midway in the race. Participants must wear tennis shoes and socks to be eligible for prizes. See rules and more details on the track web page www.gtrpbmt.com. Golden Triangle Raceway Park is located on W. Hwy. 90 between Beaumont and China, Texas. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and hot laps start at 7:30.
