Nick posts the results we give him in the tower, and he does not handle any questions or inquiries.

I checked the scoring database, and it does look like #5 left the track on Lap 26. But she returned to the track in time to take the green flag on the restart. The TSRS rules state that if a car goes to the pits during a yellow and returns to take the green, the laps will be adjusted. The car has to start in the back of the field because of the pit stop, but it is not penalized any laps.

I've referred your comment to Kathy Tiemann, who is the THR/TSRS Director of Scoring, to verify my analysis of the scoring data.

If you have any questions or concerns about the scoring or results, please refer them directly to Kathy at ktiemann@austin.rr.com.

Thanks for editing your original post.

I understand that questions will come up on the scoring results, and it helps if we can discuss it with the individuals involved personally on the night of the race. Our scoring database (Orbits) can easily help us answer questions like the one that was asked above.

To help us address your concerns in a timely manner, we have asked that you check the results that are posted in the garage after the last race. In that way, we can start clarifying any scoring issues quickly. I am always available in the garage area after we've packed up the scoring equipment in the tower, so please feel free to talk to me then. I also try to include my e-mail address on any scoring matters that are sent out to the drivers, etc.

From this day forward I will let me PR Rep write all my post.

All the serious ones anyway.

Gunnar, I apoligize to you for going off on you this morning.

It was a long weekend and I was still tired this morning. I guess I

woke up cranky and read your post right off.

So, again, I am sorry for going off on you.

No, Kathy, I will not write your posts for you. I sometimes feel very challenged also. We work so hard to get it right, and it gets pretty frustrating sometimes. Hang in there . . . try counting to 10, or maybe a 1000, next time before posting a response. Maybe it will help. :)

Don't worry about it. I'm taking a few day's to think about if I'll ever step foot on THR'S property again.
