neon14
I guess this guy drove the wheels off his car lol This has got to be one of the worst possible things to happen at the end of a straightaway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HVxVcJHHdk
jwmbishop
Wow. Looks like the bracket that mounts the lower control arms to the pan broke just as he came down on the binders. Carbon fibre is great stuff until it fails!
txtom
Glad he is alright, but I have to admit it was funny watching him countersteer after the wheels came off.

KISS_Racing
Hey Will, Im cancelling the order for all those carbon fiber parts for the golf cart. More money for motor now!
racer61
I believe the brakes blew up on that car due to excessive heat. Thats what happens when you replace tried and true iron with synthetic plastics. Glad he wasnt hurt.

CuttingEdgeRacing
Good lord! Lucky they has that HUUUUGE run off ramp. I think the instinct to counter-steer runs in every racers blood. I remember watching a drag car going down the track on its lid and seeing the wheels counter-steer.
neon14
I wonder how this is going to affect his confidence in his car? Just drive it on in there, it will stick. Dont worry you got a good set of tires lol Mark, thats a good idea, send all that crap back. I just canceled that order for the autoclave.
KISS_Racing
Will, i have the Alpine head unit and two Alpine amps. we just need to find a spare motor and we will be set for Oct.
jwmbishop
I believe the brakes blew up Both at the same time? Something else had to be the starting point more than likely mechanical, causing an unexpected and very extreme heat spike - not a build up. The ragged edge on heat failure is not THAT fine a line. Most likely something in the suspension punched both CF rotors at the same time.
