Last Friday, the weather and racing were both great. Modifieds and limited modifieds offered up some hot, wheel to wheel action in preparation for the USMTS show. Corey Babbitt took top honors in the modified class while John O. Whittington (driving a borrowed car) was the limited king pin.

 

It was also “move-up” night. The top two in each division, beginning with the pure stock, could move up to race in the next class. The following are the top finishers in each feature:

JR. MINI STOCK: Taz Nelson, Tyler Harris, Garrick Franks, Hayden Howard, Van German, Luke Nelson………...This is a 4 cylinder class designed for young racers 12 to 16 years old. The Jr. Mini point season started with this race.
