rebelracewriter Posted April 10, 2010 Report Share Posted April 10, 2010 Bell County Drivers Ring in Victories at Heart O' Texas Speedway Elm Mott, TX (April , 2010) - Brandon Stewart of Academy took the win in the IMCA Modified feature Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway. Pat McGuiure from Belton followed in second and Benji Kirkpatrick of Elm Mott placed third. Keith White from Academy earned the first place spot in the IMCA SportMod feature with Stewart in second and Kevin Green from Robinson in third. Ricky Rodriguez from Eddy won the IMCA Hobby Stock feature. Michael Votaw from Whitney ran second and Jeff Sexton from West was third. Local drivers Doug Andrews, Jason Gauntt, and John Heffelfinger were the top three finishers in the street stock feature. Greg Andrews led fellow Wacoans, Melvin Kemp Jr. and Jeff Shepperd, to the checkered flag in the pure stock feature. Andrew Richards from Robinson padded his point lead in the cruiser class with a feature win. Jeff Williams and Steve Wade, both from Waco, rounded out the top three. The junior mini stock winner was Jarrett Roberts from Temple. Jordan Kornegay from China Spring and Austin Theiss from Hockley were second and third. The top three finishers in the Texas Twister feature were Austin Smith from Lampasas and Jay Hutson and Rick Morosky from Waco. Next Friday marks the return of the ASCS Sprint Cars Lone Star Region to the Speedway. IMCA Modified, IMCA SportMod, and IMCA Hobby Stock will run heats and features. Street Stock, Pure Stock, Cruiser, Junior Mini Stock, and Texas Twisters will run features only. Gate open at 6:00 P.M. and racing begins at 8:00 P.M.
