maverick
I see where ASA is making radical changes to their cars in the Challenge division. Seems kind of like bad timing to be making radical changes, but who knows. That will eliminate the locals from running.
Crazyhorse
we were talking about that saturday at terry's shop. then they wonder why they can't keep consistent car counts?
Snowball
I hope that they don't do what the Old ASA did and make a car that will be obsolete if the series ever folds. That car wasn't even a latemodel.
racer61
does anyone know what the changes are? Just curious.
Truck99
does anyone know what the changes are? Just curious. I bet txtom can tell us.
txtom
The details have not been announced yet; the car (2 of them) will debut at the PRI show. Just what we need in racing, another one off series of cars.
Crazyhorse
suppose to be going to mustang and camaro bodies ONLY. that is the most drastic, i think.
racecar25
probably a "cot" late model style....
Colt15
mustang and camaro bodies made by arp only. not abc.
Snowball
That's stupid to get away from the ABC bodies! The ABC body program has finally put most series on the same rules atleast concerning the Bodies.
NickHolt
That's stupid to get away from the ABC bodies! The ABC body program has finally put most series on the same rules atleast concerning the Bodies. Which is probably why APR is putting so much effort into keeping it's business alive. What's good for racing may not be good for certain vendors. Nick
ProTree
a body change to something different like the new camaro and mustang could jump start a new trend around the short tracks of america, newer body styled looking cars of today. Snowball
Is that APR or ARP bodies? The ABC program includes both Five Star and ARP bodies. Correct?

Ricochet
Here are some pictures of a former Cup Series car which was originally a Monte Carlo. Bumbera's recently transformed it for a customer into a 2009 Cadillac CTS road race car with an ARP body. Bumbera's is the Texas ARP Bodies Dealer if you're thinking about the ASA Challenge Series Camaro or Mustang. Here is a link to the picture on the website and 2 others are attached. Very slick looking car. http://bumberas.com/oval-and-road-course.html
