Kathy
Some of you may remember Marilyn Martinettes. She worked right beside me several years at Longhorn Speedway scoring the races. She left Longhorn and went to work with the Texas International Drivers Association, the Super Late Models run by Neil Upchruch (TIDA) up until the time it disbanded in 1997. She then briefly came to work at ThunderHill Raceway with me again. She had been battling a form of brain cancer for many years now and had just recently had another operation. They thought they had got it all this time. Monday she slipped into a coma, but woke up the next day and knew what was going on, who everyone was and seemed to be doing good. Wednesday evening she passed away. If everyone could, please say a prayer for her family. There will be a memorial service November 14th around 3:00 at Cook Walden in Pflugerville. Marilyn has donated her body to research and when they are finished, they will take care of the cremation.
