I hadn't been to Shady Oaks in years... what a dramatic improvement.. everywhere you look things were looking ship-shape and the racing surface looked racy all night. I didn't get home till after 4:00 a.m., but it was all well worth it - especially since it was all for Jim and the Scibellitos. Had a chance to talk with Laurie for a while.
