Na - I'm sure ya'll remember the the car in the last race (labor day) and the one before that look like they were out for a Sunday drive. Well I finally got a hold of them and got them running as of this weekend pretty good. Got the timing maximized and air fuel where it needs to be for them to make maximum power up top and under the curve. They should actually be fairly competitive next week - Haven't had any other pure stocks on the dyno to now exactly where they fall power wise - so can't tell ya if they will still be in the front, middle, or back of the pack next week. The ones we normally bring are all mounted on wheels I would like to hold onto. Got a new car coming in two weeks so we will need all of em mounted. 98aggie Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 28, 2009 I wasn't able to attend the races - they said one of the cars ran good at first but the known Carb problem took him out of the race. The other one I am told was pulling on the other cars on the straight a ways, but was having issues in the corner and then ended up smoking the clutch.
