Modified Qualifying- Qualifying will be through heat races and a series of feature events to determine starting positions for Saturday night's IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals feature. Drivers will draw for heat race positions Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night. Qualifying drivers from the heat races will redraw for starting position in the qualifying features. Top two finishers in the three Wednesday “A” features will race a dash to determine the inside row for Saturday's IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals feature; top two finishers in the three Thursday “A” features will race a dash to determine the middle row; and the top two finishers in the three Friday “A” features will race a dash to determine the outside row in the Saturday night finale. The last-chance races on Saturday will be lined up from points, and will finish off the feature lineup. There will be no provisionals or alternates.

I don't particularly care for the dirt racing much, but I was fortunate enough to go to the Super Nationals in '06. I encourage any race fan or race director to go and watch and see how a big event is run. I remember the Friday night races vividly. There were a total of 62 races that were run that night. The features started at 5:00pm and ending at 2:00am. This included all of the hot laps and after every 10 races they would reprep the track.
