debwill Posted September 7, 2009 Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 Shown below is the Thunderhill Raceway’s detailed Schedule of Events for September 11 & 12 that includes the following highlights: o We’re calling the September 12 race “Save the Firehall” Night at the Races – for the Manchaca Firehall (see Page 3 of the attachment). We’re planning a “Pass the Helmet” collection during the drivers’ meetings and in the grandstands to help raise money for the Save the Firehall benefit on Sunday (Sept. 13). Raffle tickets will also be sold for some customized Texas Longhorn and Texas A&M BBQ pits. o All drivers in all classes are asked to participate in a “Remembering 9-1-1” memorial on the front straightaway during Opening Ceremonies. o DWIDUDE.COM is sponsoring the Pro Truck feature race, and Umscheid Race Services is also giving a $100 gift certificate to the fastest qualifier. Thanks, Stacy O’Brien and JC Umscheid, for your support of the Pro Trucks! o Now that the Mini Stock Class has grown, the feature race has increased from 10 laps to 15 laps. o The TSRS Late Model race will be called the TSRS Late Models “REBECCA COOPER CPA 75.” We will have out-of-car introductions for the TSRS Late Models. Thanks again, Becky, for your support! o Tator Mason, owner of TATOR PLUMBING, in San Antonio, TX, is adding $200 to the Thunder Stock purse - $100 to the race winner and $100 to a randomly-drawn position following the technical inspections. Thanks, Tator, for your support! o We are showing 30 laps for the ASA A-Line Super Stocks, but it will increase to 40 laps if we have 16 or more entries on race day.
