Ross Kenseth Wins ASALMS show at Owosso - Texan Kyle Sirizzotti set fast time, finished fourth

 

Ross Kenseth won his second ASA Late Model Series event of the season Saturday, September 5, at at the fast 3/8-mile, high-banked, paved Owosso Speedway in Ovid, Michigan. Ross will head to Gateway International Speedway this weekend in hopes of a repeat performance against ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division.

 

Helotes, Texas, driver, 18-year-old Kyle Sirizzotti, the 2008 ASALMS Challenge Division Rookie of the Year, posted a fast lap of a 15.469 seconds. After qualifying, Sirizzotti drew a seven for an inversion which placed Michigan veterans Ray Meylan and Brian Campbell on the front row.

 

The ASA Late Model Series is its own entity and not affiliated in any way with ASA Racing, American Speed Association or the ASA Member Track Program. The ASA Late Model Series is owned and operated by Ron and Sandy Varney as it has been for the past six years and will be for years to come.
