Brian and I wanted to clear up the rumor pertaining to the donating of purse money for the Halloween Havoc race. We both have had several phone calls and emails about this subject and they all have the same question, Do I have to donate my purse? The idea of a car owner or driver donating there purse winnings is thoughtful and very much appreciated but it is not mandatory. The decision to donate is completely the decision of the car owner or driver. We at Shady Oaks Speedway realize how hard the economy is on alot of people and with some their winnings is a form of income and with others it is what they use to continue to race.
