NickHolt Posted November 21, 2007 Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 Thanksgiving is a great day for us to just stop and reflect on all we have been blessed with... and give thanks to the Creator for giving us such an amazing earthly home. Have your ever considered inviting a member of the military over to your home for Thanksgiving diner? Most town/cities near military bases have some sort of "Operation Homecooking" program where families can host a solider/airman/sailor for the day. I know we have had basic trainees from Lackland AFB for the past 20 years... Believe me we get far more out of their presence than they do ours.
