txtom
Steve, I am not sure about sportsman this year, but I think you might see 4 to 6 Modifieds, from what I have heard here and there. Ought to be an exciting weekend. That Alexander bunch is bringing the Rebel Rocket, and the 115 "Lemon Lime II", and a newbie crew guy who has never seen the Derby weekend. He is a little wet around the rear--I mean ears, but he's gonna like it. I would tell you that I am planning to take new guy Brad down off turn three to watch corner entry. I would also tell you that he will probably piss on himself the first time a car comes by, but then, he does that without the cars, so............... Big John has made it clear to his gang that his birthday is not that weekend. No one, and I repeat, NO ONE, wants to see him up on stage dancing again. They also promised to take your buddy VIR out Waffle Housing, Pensacola style. Taking chicks to the Walmart optional. But Shelly is spoken for. Doug E Fresh may never come back to San Antonio. The modified contingent from Texas will be led by the 44 of John "Nothing like a good Round Rock donut" Schultz. He will be crewed by the shy and reserved Keith Sandefur, who will make his second Derby. Me thinks he is hooked after last year. There is chatter going around here that someone may show up at Pcola wearing big floppy fake ears, and buck teeth. Something about standing in sight of the driver of one of the Wauters cars, But I am not sure what that means..... I expect all the usual gang of suspects will be there, also. Lots of Texans make the annual journey to that Holy place known as Pensacola. (Insert hushed tones of reverence here) See ya in a few weeks! Then at Opp, he hurt some fingers. To complete the trifecta, the lift gate on his trailer was dropped on his foot at Opp.
