ron.brown11 Posted September 16, 2007 Report Share Posted September 16, 2007 Pro Late Models Hi Racegirl, I have a question on the Mod results. Why was the #78 Greg Baber shown in 7th? If the 44 really was 3 laps down, as stated in the results listed, the #78 should have been in 6th. The only lap he was down was when he went into the pits after contact with the 8 car coming off turn 4. He and another car came back onto to the track just after the green came back out and the field had completed 1 lap, and he was never lapped by the leaders again on the track. The best I could tell, they weren't counting caution laps as race laps, because if they were the 22 would have finished 8th, as he was lapped once by the top 4 cars. We checked at tech after the race to see an unofficial finishing order, but never found one to question. I'm sure that it won't be looked into because of the position in the finish, but it is important to us after the rough season we've had. Thanks, Ron Brown, Crew Chief #78 Pro Mod.
