Lonesome Ford Posted August 29, 2007 Report Share Posted August 29, 2007 Unfortunately this morning, my uncle Frank Kelly was rushed to the emergency room at Downtown Baptist. His current condition seems to be critical at this point, as his blood pressure has dropped dramatically and doctors tell us he has fluid around his heart but that's all we know at this time. I for one strongly believe in the power of prayer & your prayers (public or private) are appreciated and well received. Lonesome Ford Posted August 29, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 29, 2007 We have come to find out my uncle Frank has suffered an aortic dissection, the same thing that took John Ritter's life. There are only 2 hospitals in the country with surgeons who can perform the surgery; one in Houston and the other is in California. So, needless to say, the paperwork is being done to prepare for airlife to Houston. The specialist in Houston was unavailable but there is a heart specialist here that is performing the surgery. Ill post more when we find out. The surgery went as well as can be expected and although he's not totally out of the woods the outlook is much more optimistic now. Thanks once again to everyone for their prayers and kind words. Everything is looking ... ahem... AWEsome. Steph is doing well too, she's as mean as ever ( j/k she'd hurt me if she were to read this). Thank you thank you thank you.
