I went to look at some of Doc McGregor's photos a couple of weeks ago. For those not familier with him, he has over 250,000 photos from all over Corpus Christi during the 20s, 30s and 40s. All his pictures are owned and archived by the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History. There were some pictures of a dirt race track, I believe from the 30s (maybe 40's), but after asking around and I think it was CC Speedway before it was paved. I plan to try to purchase copies of these pics and if and when I do, I will post them on here.

THANK YOU ..I KNOW THERE WAS A DIRT TRACK ON WHAT IS NOW STAPLES ..ASWELL AS AIRLINE FROM WHAT I HEARD .. QUIET A FEW OTHER TRACKS FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD WERE HERE ALL OVER THE CITY
