SSCHUCK
No Gural in the race this week? Didn't Tommy win the Championship?
rebelracewriter
Chuck, Tommy and Teresa took the weekend off but were at the track. I spoke with both of them and they are taking some time off this year. I didn't see Tommy during the TSRS race, so I guess he couldn't stay completely away and was probably helping someone in the pits. Teresa got to drive the pacetruck for the TSRS race and was up in the K-MAC booth helping out there.
tqj3
Charles, Tommy is helping the #12, Adam Haugh, this year in TSRS. They did an engine change between qualifying and the race on Saturday when the new motor wasn't pulling. Adam started scratch and finished seventh, tying for the "Hard Charger" award for the second race in a row. I understand Tommy and Teresa are kind of taking part of the season off, but will still run selected races. In the meantime, Tommy's having a very positive effect on Haugh and his seaon. ChuckLicata
In the meantime, Tommy's having a very positive effect on Haugh and his seaon. Tommy and Teresa are also having a very positive effect on TSRS racing this year as a whole, whether they're racing or not. They have pledged their support to the TSRS broadcasts on K-MAC Sports; the Gurals (through their company, Austin Mobile Marine), Gen-Tech RV Generators and K-MAC Sports are working to raise funds for the TSRS drivers' points fund for 2007.
