Kip hen Wins at HOT

 

ELM MOTT—Sid Kiphen from Gatesville topped a three car battle for the win in another non-stop I.M.C.A. SportMod feature Friday night at the Heart O' Texas Speedway. Keith White from Academy and Matt Hood from McGregor finished in second and third.

 

Tommy Honey from Waco made a last lap pass to take the win in the pure stock feature. Jack Jenkins from Waco and Charlie Norris from Hillsboro advanced to second and third places after the second place finisher was disqualified in a post race inspection.

 

Wacoan Jeremy Bost held off Jason Gallimore from Robinson and reached the finish line first in the I.M.C.A. hobby stock feature. Chandler Simons from Robinson was third.

 

Greg Andrews from Waco dominated the street stock feature. Local drivers David Khoury and Ed Thompson finished in second and third.

 

Henry Witt, Jr. worked his way around mid-race leader Dillon Smith to win the I.M.C.A. modified feature. P.J. Egbert from Kempner ran third.

 

Chad Estes from Troy, Eric Jones from Killeen, and Mark Geurin from Whitney were the top three in the I-Stock feature.

 

Jeff Willis from West added a second feature win to his season record in the cruiser main event. Heath Zucha from Axtell and Jeff Woodruff from Elm Mott followed in second and third.

 

The top three in the junior mini stock feature were Jesse Parker from Waco, Dylan Smith from Robinson, and Aaron Childress from Bertram.

 

The winner of the first Ironhead Winged Modified race of the season was David Williams from Meridian. David Suggs from West was second, and Charlie Williams from Meridian took third.

 

Kids’ bicycle races will highlight next Friday’s regular race program. Check our website at www.heartotexspeedway for more details. Gates open at 6:00 P.M. and racing begins at 8:00 P.M.
