bigfat
What are some average rollout #s for these tires. I would say that the ARs are probably about 82 1/2". Correct me if I'm wrong.
fast18
They are 84 - 87...most of what I saw when I went to buy tires last week were 85 -

I wonder how much that would raise a cars ride height, say you had an 81" versus an 85" tire. Not a whole lotta cars at the track, I guess it was yesterday now. Hopefully todays showing won't dictate whether or not they have off Saturday practices in the future. Rancid showing. Want to say thanks for the help to the Banker's, Don and Matt. Truck99
Jody, I don't remember exaclty, but I think a 1" taller tire will get you about 3/16" increase in ride height at that corner.
jracer98
My good deed for today, Circumference equals Pi (3.141.......) multiplied by Diameter Jay
bigfat
Thanks Chase and Professor JRacer. So let's see here, 81(circumference)/3.141(pi)=25.787" Diameter ..........................82(circumference)/3.141(Pi)=26.106" Diameter 1" of rollout would give you .319" increase in ride height. So 1 1/2" of rollout would give you a little less than a 1/2" of ride height increase. Right?

bigfat
Sounds right to me IF both tires compress equally (sidewall stiffness.) I doubt the Hoosiers would compress as much as the ARs. So that would more than likely make it a tad taller as well.
