rebelracewriter Posted April 18, 2007 Report Share Posted April 18, 2007 No Registration Fee/Driver Pit Pass for any Rio Grande Valley Limited Modified at South Texas Speedway By J M Hallas American Car Wash Night at the Races Through the courtesy of an anonymous sponsor stepping up, any Limited Modified(not already registered) coming up from the Rio Grande Valley* this weekend(April 21st) will have any registration fee and (1) driver pit pass paid. South Texas Speedway, The Dirt Track had planned opening points night April 7th, but Mother Nature foiled that effort. This weekend the Limited Modifieds were added to schedule with $800 awaiting the winner, $50 to start and no additional entry fee. The regular Modified class will run for $500 to win and $50 to start. (If more than 24 cars show up in either Modified class an additional $200 will be added to the winner’s share.) South Texas Speedway is a 1/4 mile semi-banked clay oval on Old Brownsville Road approx. 1 mile off South Padre Island Drive(Hwy. 358). Also on the nights agenda are the Hobby Stocks, Pure Stocks, Bombers and Texas Thunders(4-cyl.) * This special sponsor promotion is for Rio Grande Valley area Limited Modifieds only. South Texas Speedway Posted April 19, 2007 Report Share Posted April 19, 2007 There is some confusion here, the Sponsor would like to pay for the dirver registration and driver pit pass for any unregistered limited drivers that come to this race. Not only Rio Grand Valley drivers, sorry for the confusion some where in the translation things went bad. Thanks If you have any questions give me a call.
