Pits packed at SAS for Saturday's ASALMS race

Recommended Posts

There are 30 ASALMS cars already "on the ground" at SAS with at least six more on the way according to ASA's Matt Prieur.

Texas is well represented with Helotes' Kyle Sirizzotti, La Vernia's Cody Smith, San Antonio's Tommy "Texas Tornado" Grimes, Buda's Colt James, San Antonio's Lloyd Alexander and Plano's Brent Sealy alreay here and with San Antonio's Tommy Grothues sceduled to show up at some point.

I talked with all the Texas drivers earlier and they all seem pretty confident.

Anyone planning to come out this afternoon/evening for "Free Friday Happy Hour" is in for lots of test and tune action.

Practice gets under way at 5:00 p.m.

You forgot Ryan Lawler, he lives in Mooresville now but is from Colleyville, Texas up around DFW.

Good luck to all involved with the race this weekend. I think my dad is down there helping Colt James. Hope the car is as good this time as it was at the last South race down there, if so theres your Alamo 200 winner.
