There will be an open practice session on Friday night March 30th. The All Star Outlaw Late Model Series has been created as an alternative to the template body style late models those races on all the super late model tours and 2 and 2 barrel program across the southeast. Promoter Ben Atkinson thought it was time to offer the fans, promoters and drivers an option to the template bodied cars and this seems to be getting more and attention everyday at the All American Series office as by the amount of phone call that come in. “Every day here at the office we get one or two phone calls about what we are trying to do, we used to get at the phone calls from about Kentucky as these cars are very popular in the Midwest on the asphalt short tracks, but now we are getting call from Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina and around the south.” “I have nothing against the full body cars, we used them for the old Southern All Star Series for several years, but now I feel like it is time for a change and this we what we came up with, very little rules, 100 lap 4 tire races and a decent purse.” Said Atkinson. “We have some point fund money plans in the works and hope to be able to say more about that in the coming weeks, right now we need to get more tracks on board and get a good schedule out this first year and it will only grow, we have races at Birmingham, Huntsville and Senoia right now and we will have more.” Friday practice at Birmingham will be from 4 pm till 8 pm, with pit gates open on Saturday at 1 pm practice 3 pm, qualifying at 6 pm and race time set for 7 pm For more information concerning the series phone 256-539-7022, Email:allstaroutlaws@bellsouth.net or www.allstar-outlaws.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
