Racer Duck
... Any of the late model guys moving down to sportsman they of course have the upper hand.... kn1ghtblade, that's quite a statement .. seems to me that each class has "secrets" that require time (or some knowledgeable person) to uncover. LM guys don't necessarily know these secrets if they've never (or it's been a looong time since they've) been in that class. Also, driving is different 'cause the cars are different, i.e., different weight, power, suspension, etc. The only "advantage" I think the experienced LM guys have is knowing what a stable platform is and the ability to translate poor performance into a workable action plan. kn1ghtblade
I just think the LM guys for the most part have more experience and would be more likely to succede ahead of the others.... Not takeing anything away from anyone just an opponion.....
Racer Duck
I think the key word is experience .. in that department, they usually have an advantage. One thing for sure, the big $$$ guys aren't "stepping down" so that's not a problem...
