Mel
I wonder how many Modifieds might show up at SAS, THR or HMP for a purse like that? I bet a bunch would come out of the woodwork for even Half. The dirt guys always seem to show up for the "Big Purse" events, dirt or asphalt. Racer Duck
Looks like a first class job. Racin' ought to be great as soon as some rubber gets laid down... Do my peepers deceive me, or is there an outside wall only on the front straight?
Montgomery Motorhead
That is correct. Only wall at South Alabama Speedway is down the front straightaway.

racedude
Heard this was a great race to watch - where do you book hotels? I tried to pull up Opp, Alabama hotel information and no results
Montgomery Motorhead
Racedude..........There are only two hotels in OPP and I expect they are full by now. There are several hotels in Andalusia which is about 20 miles from the race track. Check out their website at www.SouthAlabamaSpeedway.com They have a hotel link on there with the phone numbers to the hotels and their address. Paul Willoughby
You can also try Enterprise, AL. It is 20 miles east of the track. Any Super Late Models or Pro Late model can feel free to calling me at 334-651-0535 if they have any questions. Rules will be same basic rules as Snowball Derby rules with a few exceptions.
