Allison Legacy Web Site in North Texas

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I wanted to take the opportunity to bring awareness to a brand new web site in North Texas. The site outlines the Allison Legacy Road Course Touring Series. 2006 was the first year that Allison cars ran road course. We started the season with three cars and at the height of the season we had 19. This series is growing rapidly. The main reason is the economical racing budget that our cars provide.

Please feel free to visit our site. There are some cool videos from Texas Motor Speedway and Texas World Speedway, information on the cars we race and lots of pictures. We also have a classifed page. So if there is anyone out there that would like to post your car for sale, for now its free to do so on our site.

teh web address is www.texomalegacymotorsports.com

Hope everyone is doing well during to off season, and have a wonderful holiday season.

Racingnut,

Thanks for checking out the site. You are coorect in that the Lonestar Legacy series from Austin ran at Texas world. They ran again this year. (their second time) The dedicated cars are running the full N.A.S.A. schedule.

In February of this year we started a dedicated Road Course Series. We currently have 10 cars running full time in this series. We started this year with three cars. This series is growing raidly. It is by far the best bang for the buck. Most of the drivers that have started runningwith us said that its more fun and cost less that circle track or some of the other cars they are running (i.e spec miata and SRX7)

I firmly believe that this is the best car and series to be running in if $$ is a major consideration.

The allison Legacy cars will be running in the NASA nationals this year. We are working out the details. As soon as we have everything in order, I will be posting the official information on the site.

We have alot of other cool stuff that is just around the corner that I believe will draw even more interest to the series.

Keep checking back for our latest and greatest.

Thanks agian.

Jay, Nice Site.

I can say that I ran in 4 of the NASA races this year in the Allison Car and truly had a blast. Only used one set of tires and still have some life left on them.

IF anyone is looking to have a blast this is it. The competition is good and the races are action packed on different tracks and new ones being built.

I plan on making as many races as possible outside of the ASAlm and Houston Pro races.

Good job Jay

Guys thanks for checking the web site.

We are doing very well so far. I have four potential folks looking to join the series that I am meeting at the Motor Sport Ranch on Saturday. The Thunderbird has sold, and folks are looking at buying new cars. I believe that next year is going to be a really good year for the Allisons on the road course.

We may have our first teen join the series. I am going to let him test one of the cars I have on Saturday. Coming from Micro Sprints.

This is going to be one fantastic series.

Thanks to everyone that ran last year. I realy feel like we built a solid foundation.
