Since this was in the announcement section, I figured I'd move it here since it really is a question not an announcement. Gunnar and I both had questions on the Texas Truck Series...

Texas Truck Series???????????

Gunnar,

I asked the same thing earlier in another post....

QUOTE

Oh and Winter Series has the "Texas Truck Series".

on edit: quotes didn't work...

what rules will the truck series be following? what motor will the trucks be running?

are the trucks running only a winter series?

Thanks!

I know everyone is busy with Thanksgiving, so I figure they will get back to us...

thanks for the response. we haven't run in Houston in about 3 yrs. that was with our #7 truck. the #81 hasn't made that trip yet. if you dont mind, PM me with any info you may hear. Christmas season is our busiest as it is for many. I will more than likely not make the meeting, but would be interested in hearing anything i can get my hands on....

Thanks,

Mark

they are running 2007 season by arts rules , still vague on the crate rules (chips , etc.).............and they are running on goodyears.

DEATH BLOW.

i've talked to graham , he's seems like a nice guy - and everybody asked for change.........BUT this will divide the trucks , ultimately killing them.

You are right Shawn. There are not enough people running trucks to have two series. That is why we sold the series in the beginning. It was going to be divided if we had not sold. There was not enough trucks for one good series then, much less two.

I was told the Goodyear slick is tire of choice. But I was also told one could run 970, AR slick or the Goodyear slick...

I wanted to say thanks to ALL those who have run over the past few years. I really mean this, I know we haven't been there with our trucks; but in many instances we have been in the stands.... Thanks to John, Mike and Andy for what you guys did, also thanks to Terry D and USRA....

I would have to agree that it is going to take everyone including us to keep things going. I wish money grew on trees , but more so I wish that I had more time... Again, thanks to those who have show up and raced.... You guys made me proud week in and week out... Shawn Paul for being man enough to put the past behind you...

We will have to wait and see what happens....
