TSRS Late Model Series to accompany NASCAR Grand National at the ‘Allstate Texas Thunder & Lightning Racefest 2007’

Austin, TX – November 7, 2006 -- Full Throttle Productions, LP, producers of the only NASCAR Grand National Division and USAC National Midget Series events in the state of Texas, today announced, in conjunction with MAN Racing Promotions, the addition of the TSRS Late Model Series to the Allstate Texas Thunder & Lightning Racefest in 2007.

The Texas Super Racing Series (TSRS) Late Models will race in conjunction with the NASCAR Grand National Division on March 31, 2007 at Thunder Hill Raceway in Kyle, Texas.

In a dramatic change, NASCAR has chosen the event in Texas to be the 2007 season opener. Full Throttle was once again awarded “event of the year” by NASCAR for 2006. “We felt that our best produced event of the year should open our racing season” stated Mike Verlatti, NASCAR Grand National Division Series Director. “We couldn’t think of a better way to start things off than with a big bang! We’ve been paying attention to the TSRS series for the last couple of years and they have demonstrated that they are the premiere Late Model series in Texas, and we are happy to welcome them to the show. It will be a great opportunity for the TSRS teams and drivers to show off their stuff on a larger stage with a lot of the right eyes paying attention.”

“It will be a lot of fun” said Tavo (C.T.) Hellmund of Full Throttle Productions, LP, “this is a great way to start the racing season in Central Texas.” Mary Ann Naumann, owner of MAN Racing Promotions and the Texas Super Racing Series added, “what an honor to be apart of such a prestigious event, our drivers and teams are excited and are preparing their cars for this exciting kick off of the 2007 season”.

More details regarding the NASCAR, TSRS and USAC events will be forth coming in the weeks ahead.

I think a huge "congratulations" goes out to Mary Ann, her TSRS staff and the drivers, families and crews. To be included in something like this is pretty darn good for a Texas series.

:D:)
