ProTree
I'm with you 97car.I've watched David make a zillion runs and when he's in the zone,he's unbeatable. They had the typical racers voyage on the way to Rockingham,a couple of flats on the trailer the other side of Houston, had spares, but went ahead and bought all new tires for the trailer.Got to Alabama and the trailer broke loose from the RV and had to use the RV to stop the trailer, damn near lost it it all,got that fixed and made it to the Rock. It's like the man upstairs is testing him to see how bad he wants it,and then to unload and run what he did.And the good part,he was the best out of the 8 in practice. It gives the 3 he has to race to Win something to sleep on till Sunday.I'm hoping the planets line up for him,he's worked hard to get where he's at and deserves it.I hope he brings home all the $$$,the new Dragster, and everything that goes to the Champion. ProTree
UPDATE from Rockingham- bits I received--after a rain delay,David got in his final practice and his dragster died at the end of the track with a alternator problem. After finding the problem and charging the battery, then scrambling to get back to the staging lanes for 1st round ,David took his 1st round WIN and advanced to 2nd round.Minutes ago David took the Win in his 2nd Round and has advance to the FINALS.Go David Go.One more Round is all David needs to be the Summit Racing Series Runoff Champion and $10 Grand,a Turn Key Dragster and Trip to Aruba plus richer. ProTree
The Final Showdown-David loses in the Finals by going under his dail-in .005 of a second. He took the starting line advantage by having a better reaction time but was a fraction to quick on the top side.David finished the season as Summit SuperSeries #2 Bracket Racer in the US and Canada.
