Mona
Randy, I wish I knew the answer to your question. I am suprised that someone hasn't come on here and answered you. My suggestion is to call Rick Day 210-628-1499. We would love to have you if it all works out.
Guest RandyBorlace
car ran too good last year to let it sit out, got a mystery driver all ready for it, and i have tried to call rick 2 times today, with no answer.
Flyin34
If your talking about Bruce's car, it should be legal. You will have to run the tires they have listed (Hoosier 970 or the American Racer), and you have to meet the weight.
debwill
Randy, If you can't reach Rick at the track number that was posted by Mona, please give him a call on his cell at 210-827-4524. Truck99
Well, now that thas has been taken care of (thanks, Rick) does anyone know what kind of RPM's to expect on American Racer Slicks with a 5.59 final? The answer depends on alot of things. An accomplished driver at SAS will get more revs out of it than a rookie. A car that is set up well will hit more revs than one with handling problems. Another factor is how well your motor package can handle the revs. I'm guessing you'll be between 7200 and 7600 depending on how well that buggy gets around the track. I wouldn't want to do that for 50 laps, but you may be OK with it.
Guest RandyBorlace
another person told me 7200, and i am content with that, the driver is an accomplished driver, and the car handles well (2nd last year at oktoberfast before the DQ for weight) so now i am wondering does anyone have any american racer take offs i can get CHEAP? TexasTornado
Word is the "mystery driver" will be ol' man buck borlace. Question is can he make more than one lap before something falls off?
