O'Reilly Chili Bowl Pit Vouchers Available!

 

 

Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (September 21, 2006) With nary a ticket to be found, a grandstand seat for the upcoming 21st Annual O'Reilly Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, which will take place at the Tulsa Expo Raceway on January 10-13, 2007, may rank as the toughest ticket to come by in the motorsports world.

 

 

But the good news for race fans that missed out on tickets for the prestigious four night event, which were essentially depleted upon the June 30 ticket renewal deadline, is that all-access pit passes for the event that attracts more than 250 of the nation's top racers from all variety of disciplines will be available.

 

 

And for those wishing to get a head start on the rest of the pack, Pit Pass Vouchers are available now for a mere $150 for all four nights. Those that purchase Pit Pass Vouchers for all four nights in advance will also receive free pit admission to the Tuesday, January 9, practice session.

 

 

Pit Pass Vouchers may be ordered by calling the O'Reilly Chili Bowl Midget Nationals ticket office during office hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at 918-838-3777.

 

 

Adding his name to the elite list of Chili Bowl champions by taking the final checkered flag in the 20th running of the event on January 14 was DIRT Modified and Late Model ace Tim McCreadie of Watertown, NY, a surprise victor as he became the first winner in Chili Bowl history to come from a racing background outside the open wheel Sprint Car or Midget ranks.

 

 

McCreadie joined a prestigious list of Chili Bowl Nationals winners that includes Sammy Swindell (1998, 1996, 1992 and 1989), Cory Kruseman (2004 and 2000), Dan Boorse (2003 and 1999), Tracy Hines (2005), Tony Stewart (2002), Jay Drake (2001), Billy Boat (1997), Donnie Beechler (1995), Andy Hillenburg (1994), Dave Blaney (1993), Lealand McSpadden (1991), Jon Heydenreich (1990), Scott Hatton (1988) and Rich Vogler (1987).
